Sue`s dad used to go "scrambling" years ago. If you try it to do it these days it seems you get an ASBO. ;)

Not wishing to get to much into politics but thats spot on.... Kids either get into trouble or seek there kicks in more covert, different ways now because of the constraints law and legislation have placed on having 'fun'...

If I think of the things we used to do as kids, that the youngsters are not allowed to do now!!!!
No wonder they have to find alternative ways of letting off steam

I agree whole heartedly with you both. Kids are stopped from doing some things which is being blamed on "Elf & Safety" but in reality its the laziness of some councils who don`t want to sort stuff out & are passing the buck. Pushbikes is a perfect example. Kids these days wear helmets, knee pads & elbow pads just to ride to school. Our pads were the inch thick scabs left from the last time we fell off! I appreciate the roads are much busier these days but even so... That & this litigation society we now live in, people are :poop: scared of being sued. What happened to being responsible for your own actions?

Kids are wrapped up in cotton wool by society & now have no concept of the real world & as a consequence, struggle to cope with life when they do leave school.
