Blackstock looks ok for family outings but i wouldnt reccomend it as a bike specific cafe/meeting place which is what im trying to list in my lil map thingy > Map - Cafe's

Ive a feeling some riders will have issues with the car park (gravel and sloping) before even entering the cafe area and as much as i don't mind goat tracks with mud n grit n horse poo down the centre i know some don't. Was good to look though  >>>>>> Map -

The Willow Cafe yet again is under new management. However, this time it sounds really promising!
Planning on opening up some evenings too.

No H's for me until I get my discs sorted. Might pop up the Adelaide in the van though!

"American Diner" has opened up on the A21 in the former Little Chef, its on the left, when heading north from Hurst Green, just past the B2009 turning to Wadhurst/Ticehurst. Its tucked up by the car sales place.

The cafe at the garden centre on the way from Goudhurst to Hawkhurst has been recommended as they're biker friendly. Not had a chance to go there yet but it'll make a change to the Hawkhurst fish ponds cafe which as been popular all year

    Bugger!

It seems that Wesson's will soon be in new hands :( ...

    http://wessonscafe.com/social-news/

Steve Wesson's built up an iconic biker stop there and their Brekkies (exclusively cooked on the griddle) are the best I've ever tasted :D .

I hope that the new owner(s) won't change a thing (especially the food :hgry:).

    Bye, bye Steve & co. :wave2: !

sadly I think Steve and his familys dedication will be a hard act to follow.
however I'm sure everyone would wish them all the best at the same time welcoming it's new owners-
as said above ' if it ain't broke don't fix it '
