This event seems to increase in popularity each year as they learn the lessons from the previous years. Last years was good as I was helping out on one of the stands & so had lots of opportunities to chat to friends new & old as well as complete strangers. It was a tiring day being on my feet during opening times, so this year i'll be attending as a paying customer.

Anyone else going over the weekend as I can't get the time off to go on the Friday?

There's ten of us going up on the Saturday & i'm helping out on the TRF stand on the Sunday.

Last year I was on the TRF stand both days of the weekend & there was no time to look around the show as it was so busy there was no time to look around.

As for riding up there Rosie, if you buy anything too bulky you might have problems lashing it down onto the bike. I park where it's free & walk the short distance to the show.

Taking your bike is a great way to stop you spending too much. If you find anything big you really can't live without a lot of the stalls will deliver, so worth asking about.

I think it will have to be a Sunday trip now. Having done 5 days bootcamp then going out tonight = Saturday write off lol. Would like to take bike depending on weather and if I can get Tom Tom working.

For people's information think Blackwell Tunnel closed until 8am sunday morning.
Also the A2 to tunnel off m25 has average speed cameras from where it starts the 50 (couple miles after M25) all way to the tunnel.

There was a bike & van coming together within the northbound bore & we just managed to get through as they were exchanging excuses. This was about 10am on the Saturday.

Went up by bike on the Friday & it took 20 mins from my house to the secure bike parking area. There was only 4 other bikes there before me.
