I have a two piece mesh suit and mesh gloves. All good advice re. vents open on helmets, plenty of water etc. I always feel fine once moving but waiting at junctions and at lights I'm always surprised how quickly it can get much too hot for comfort.
Most of my friends who live in places like Spain, Dubai and Canada choose to do without leathers in summer. Maybe if I lived in a warmer climate I'd do the same but for the few heatwaves we get here I'd rather put up with the discomfort for a while.

I wear a ventilated summer jacket with elbow, shoulder and back padding. Good at Temps above 25c. I wear a tight fitting waterproof jacket underneath it when it goes cool.

My one piece leathers are heavily vented, so not that bad in the summer. In the winter i chuck a hoodie or waterproof over the top. The main problem is the winter turns my winky into a button mushroom!

Last year in north Italy it was 38c & I was like a pot noodle in leather jeans & my enduro jacket. But as long as I kept going the breeze helped to keep cool-ish. But as soon as I stopped I was glowing.

This year around France it got really hot in a different way around the Brittany area & wasn't the dry heat as it was around Padova/Verona & Garda last year. I found that changing to lighter gloves helped a lot as I didn't want to go lighter on the main items of clothing. Gravel rash hurts a lot, as I have experienced over the years & have the scars to prove it.

This year I wore some gloves that were shorter than normal & they proved to be the best. I wish i'd had them last year.
