    I had a go at fixed wing gliding the other year and it was brilliant! My mate has a pilots license and flies a plane for hobby and keeps promising to let me have a go, all I have to do is go halves with him on the cost. I must get around to doing it this year. Type into google G-SEXX (no joke) and it will bring up the plane he flies.:) If you are interested that is.

    yeah, thats pretty much where everyone in the South East goes to learn because it has the most flyable days out of anywhere in the UK. Thats where I learnt so Devils Dyke is the main spot and Caeburn hill.

    I haven't tried it yet although would love to. Bought a day paragliding on south downs as 40th present for my ex. Within half hour he had fallen, dislocated his shoulder and we spent the rest of the day in A&E. Not surprising he's my ex now I guess :giggle:
