it's soon to be here again, thousands of bikes all heading to Hastings on the first may bank holiday.
so who's going and who's heading the opposite way ?

i'm still unsure which i will do

It is nice to see all the bikes, but guessing it will be better to head away than head in.

I'm going to be heading away then pulling over somewhere and tagging onto the main bunch that come down into hastings with a mate, hard to avoid as i live in hastings and who would want to avoid it anyway :p

You`re right, it IS nice to see all the bikes but its a pain in the arris getting in, then getting parked, then getting around & then getting out again. Not to mention it usually coincides with Pirate day *&* the Jack In The Green festival. May head off to Loomies that day.

Yeah parking is a bit of a night mare, but for me that just makes it, having that many motorbikes around that its a night mare to park i just love the atmosphere.. yeah Jack in the green usually causes a hold up though

I'm going down there with a few friends, meeting in a village near Pratts Bottom (forget what it's called) and taking the boring route down the A21 just for the pleasure of being on a dual carriageway packed with bikes :)

May watch on A21 for a while and then head off on a rideout.

I would kind of like to be in Hastings when they come in, having missed it for the past 2 years. Then head out for a ride once it starts to get silly busy. That way can park before they come, enjoy seeing the sites, and escape for coffee and cake elsewhere :D

i can live with the idea of watching them while missing the mass of people and lack of space  but then just need to make sure we hide from the massive amount of :cop::cop::cop::cop: trying to increase their :cash::cash::cash:

I'm hopefully going to get the bike all ready for the 6th, so I'd like to get down there at some point, what happens after i'm not bothered! I have a years worth of riding to catch up so I want to get some miles done :rubhands:

I'd be interested in meeting up with anyone on route from the Maidstone area?

If I can sort a new tyre in time I will be there.....even if, last year, I ride on to Rye for coffee and cake. Watching out, all the time for the speed traps on the A259!
