Was hoping I could recruit someone to pick me up and bring me over but in reality I think it's just too early for me to be able to manage either the car journey or the time stood/sat. Sadly I shall have to miss this one but will be back in October for sure!

I've looked in vain for an 'Unlike' button. Brother RW: could you consider adding one?

Tom left some Tiger Prawns for me (Hooray) and the burger wasn't bad (Honestly, Lisa: you could have eaten more of my chips if you'd wanted) and the salted caramel and chocolate tart was (...er, up to Lammy's standards?) jolly fine indeed. Not only were we a severely reduced number of SECBers, but the rest of the pub was nearly devoid of human occupancy. There were more ladies serving behind the bar than people drinking. (Even before we arrived, in case anyone feels rude!).

This evening also witnessed my first ever 'selfie'. My first attempt failed to include me and as Lisa pointed out, that's not really the general idea of the Selfie. I persevered, though, and the results are below. David Bailey is not at any risk at all...

Next month there will be a 3-line whip. If members fail to attend without Good Reason (to be defined) and are heard to confess they are thereby rendered miserable, those attending shall laugh uproariously and make general merriment, thus to further the misery of the non-attendees. (Plus you won't be allowed pudding).

    So there...

I'm trying to remember what Tom used- something like T.E.D Ted ? And what it stood for ?

May I add a quick cautionary note, Lisa: Tom is a bloke. You are not. His idea of what constitutes 'danger' may be very different from yours! ;)

I think not so much that Tom is a bloke, more like "Tom is Tom" and therefore his idea of danger ..... well ...... lol
