Funny I was looking at that too - great minds think alike lol. There is the Anchor in at Ouse - can swim in river there but apparently banks are quite steep. Otherwise I reckon we could find a quieter patch of beach further along from Camber towards St Mary's Bay and Dymchurch. Could do little roads - cross country run to the Airport Café and then hit the beach or something? That's assuming the weather is going to be good.

The Anchor Inn / River Ouse is at Barcombe Mills...a little bit of a walk to the swim area...it's not very steep...but there is a rope swing on a tree.
    Haven't been to the others.

Well if we come up with a plan for all three days then we can always swap them around according to weather. Forecast is constantly changing. I reckon it's going to be hot, hot, hot! Lol

Is the Anchor a nice place to stop for a bite?

Yes, it's a nice pub, with garden out front. Parking is gravel / grass so bring pucks. You can even rent row boats...

Thinking maybe tomorrow heading to Oasis then to the beach but other side of Camber rather than where all the hordes are. Anchor Inn (which I like the sound of) could be a Sunday or Monday ride? Mind you, Sunday I would probably have to meet you all somewhere during the day as I will probably be feeling a tad fragile in the morning and I have to be home relatively early.

So, Saturday: Unless anyone has any other suggestions or plans (please say if so - I was at a bit of a loss) then could meet at 1066 for coffee at 9, leave at 9.30 and head cross country to Airport café in Sellindge for breakfast. Then could go from there, via smaller roads, to what I call the "kitesurf beach" between Lydd and Camber. Take a few picnic supplies and chill on beach for hour or so then find cross country route back.

However, if anyone else has a plan please say and I will be there :D

Actually plan could be either Oasis and Camber or Anchor Inn and River Ouse. Which would people prefer?

Either is fine. 1066 @ 9 either way?
