Certainly pays to shop around as they rely on you being lazy & just hike it massively hoping you won't be bother to swap. A quick hunt can usually bring up a better price.

Tried to get on the trackday but was already full. Hopefully we'll get one in this season that a few of us can get to. :)

Yesterday, on a Triumph Owners club breakfast ride out, I met my old Daytona coming the other way. It made my heart start thumping, same as it always did. That was the most beautiful bike in the World, ever. It was wonderful to see it out and being used but oh, how I wished it was still mine. I hope I see it again soon.

Just booked my bike in for it's first service, then realised I need to do at least 300 miles by the weekend. Best I start tomorrow :disco:

Park up near tour route only to have copper with machine gun come up to us. Oh here we go “move on” I asked if he spoke English “no” off to good start here he was telling us to move on another 100 yards round the bend to designated bike parking cops had set up right next to route. Could not have been better if we planned it

First track day yesterday with the Kent Fire & Rescue - what a great day - proper value for money!
What a great track, got better bit by bit and learnt not to soil my pants dropping over Paddock Hill by the end :)

After much help from several friends, all of who are heroes (you know who you are Alan and Jonny) the bike has been safely delivered to Tagg's to have a new stator fitted. It came down to a choice between Taggs and Lagunas. Both bent over backwards to try and help but Laugna's lost out because their ordering system didn't allow having the stator fast tracked to the shop and Taggs can have the parts here much sooner. I don't suppose I'll be back on the road in time for the Triumph Rally on Friday, but there's still a chance so I shall hang on to the ticket, in case.
