Did go-karting in Eastbourne last year followed by a nice meal at the Treacle Mine at Polegate.

 

I can only do evenings and Polegate might be a bit far. Would around Tunbridge Wells suit? x

 

I can't do the 7th because of work :-(

Good idea & Tun Wells is central for most. (I was thinking of something similar myself but never got around to suggesting it.)

When I saw that I thought you wanted us to sit in a barn with a pregnant woman and a couple of donkeys, and wait for three blokes to turn up with some gold and two types of drugs.

 

Jim, Im not sure what strange parties you go to....but I like the sound of them You can skip the pregnant woman though

 

I dont want to change it from the usual meetup date of the first Weds of the month x

 

I think the pregnant woman is probably quite an important part of the story. Her and the bloke who thought his whittling in the woodshed got her into that condition, when in fact it later transpires he had nothing to do with it.

 

That's ok, I wasn't asking for anyone to change it. Just letting you know that I couldn't make it and if the date changed then maybe I could attend

 

Tanya, are you happy finding somewhere or leave it for someone nearer to TW? If this is on, I suggest we need to firm up numbers & book somewhere soon.

 

open to suggestions, I dont know TW that well, I have asked a mate who used to live around there but havent heard back. Any suggestions? Les, you could use one of your numerous days off to go do a recce

That looks ok to me unless someone already knows a better one. Anyone local know such an eaterie? Quite happy to have a look around but then unless I eat in them all, how will I know? Who's up for this, so we know if it's worth it?

 

If I do this, I will be gettin a lift there and back, off the wife, coz I'll be drinkin. So can we pick somewhere on the main road that's easy to find???
