[Dec 7, 2011] 7 Dec Xmas dinner meetup - PLEASE PUT YOUR NAME DOWN IF YOU ARE COMING (TN5 6ER)

Excellent evening! Tanya: full marks for the organisation (which isn't as easy as people may think); I award myself 'nil points' for my menu choices because they were all the very last to emerge from the kitchen, although delicious when they did arrive, and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing so many fun people. Some notable exceptions weren't able to attend and were missed, but perhaps they will be able to come to it next year. I haven't had so much fun since... the last time I rode my bike!

 

Just to echo the other comments, thanks again Miss T for the organisational wonders. Alan for suggesting a venue that didn't give us food poisoning (I assume, I have an iron stomach so might be the last to know) and of course you chaps for showing up and making it a massive success!
Special thanks to Tanya for kicking it all off (I reckon she's made a great application to be chief arranger )
and to Panel Man, for being that guy who's always prepared. In this case to inflate my tyre (my actual tyre too, not Ogy's) typically it was only earlier yesterday as I checked Ogy's pressures I thought "Must get a new cigarette lighter pump". Ho hum.

 

Oh yes, forgot it was your birthday! We should have had a toast to you. Many happy returns xx
