    Fergy maybe somewhere we could meet on your run back from Blueboys like Hawkhurst or Cranbrook? I'm always a bit vague about the route to Ashford lol so maybe one of the GPS crew can come up with a plan.

    Fergy - If we are leaving Hastings at 11:xx, could meet you at Hawkhurst at 11:30 so we split the difference??? No idea where an Esso garage is!

    Esso garage is on the way out of Hastings on A21 near the Sainsbury's. Its on our way (a few minutes up road from mine) so can meet you there Fergy if you want. Give us a shout if you'll make it to the Esso garage by 11.15-30 and if not can meet you in Hawkhurst at the gas station there.

    I am a bit confused...Isnt Hawkhurst the wrong direction for Ashford? Or am I just having a blonde moment?

    I will head for the Esso for 11.30.

    Just found out bike is not back in one piece and won't be till around midday. :-( That has totally scuppered my plans! Not sure what to do now except cry :cry:

    I have it on promise that bike will be ready by 12.30 at the latest so will hang on for Tom to finish work and then come find you all :)

    Put your foot down with a firm hand and say they HAVE to come and collect, that could be a pretty serious failing. I know they are probably being overcautious but even so, insist they collect and deliver!

    Was a nice day out...went to Ashford Fire Station, via Ashford Housing Estate...obviously not a short cut...
    Good to see Jim in action...thanks to the bike specialist washers :)

    Then off to the American Diner, then off to meet Leila and Tom.
    Thanks JimG, lost and Fergy...given the sunshine, not quite ready to hibernate the bike for winter.

    Was a lovely afternoon, just sorry I couldn't make it to the bikewash as my bike is in need of it! Nice to catch up with you guys having finally rescued my bike from mechanic lol!
