Did anybody else see this? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-kent-16253048 It appears the poor lad has decided to retire from racing having won his first championship and being badly injured.

    Does anyone know him?

Hopefully he'll get back on a bike one day...

Sevenoaks motorcycle champion retires at 18 after crash

[IMG] Craig Drury is home in Sevenoaks for Christmas but will not be racing again
An 18-year-old motorcycle champion has decided to retire from the sport after recovering from a crash during the event at which he won his title.
Craig Drury was named British 250cc grass track champion after the crash in which he received multiple injuries.
He was airlifted to the major trauma centre at the Royal London Hospital where he spent 35 days, 12 of them in intensive care.
"I can't remember any racing or waking up out of intensive care," he said.
"Then they slowly listed all the injuries I had."
His bike hit him in the chest, breaking his collarbone, three vertebrae, several ribs and a leg and puncturing a lung.
