    Alan, slightly off topic but I spoke to the tool rep today re disks for cutting stainless. He`s going to drop me in a sample for you to try when hes next in my area. :thumbsup:

    links and dimensions ? who do you think I am ?....can't you just hammer some stainless around a bottle or 2 or something and then stick it on the end of a drain pipe ?

    /edit Sorry...erm 2 round bits about milk bottle size, but slightly longer and a bendy Y pipe about an arms length long :)

    Can't make tapered baffles or cans yet. Can make short cones and parallel silencers though. If yer serious about em, call around and we'll have a measure??? Try n get me some pix looking down those cans as well???:)

    They are race cans mate, road cans are baffled. Less noise, same look!!!

    Knocked this together today. I had a 60mm tube welded to a washer, 38mm i/d, 73mm o/d. Made the slashcut outta 3" polished stainless tube, 13" long. added a 10" length of 38mm perforated tube and another washer to the end. Just wedged it all together to see what it looked and sounded like. Whadya reckon?

    Looks & sounds ok, guess it'll depend how it runs. The fuelling need tuning? Just been looking at a non cat Akra with removable baffle & link pipe for the 690. £1200 with £100 discount.
