Today I was driving around Gatwick.
I started to brake for a corner but was taken to the shifter handle (no brakes) FUCK.
In turn drove the second lane (luckily nothing was going to).
When I stopped it turned out from the left caliper fared pads.
    How does it happen??
Previous owner changed the pads but did it wrong!!
Unscrewed the bolt, brake pads flew. Many are not missed!
My mistake, I not checked .
This is a typical example of what happens when a motorcycle repair unsuitable men.
    Do not do it!
    The motorcycle is no puzzle.

PS.Does anybody know where I can buy a bolt and spring?

ouch dude, lucky escape there. thing slike sliding pins and springs bits i usually get from wemoto but shop around they may be cheaper elsewhere. most places that sell rebuild kits/piston seals etc for your bike will prob list sliding pins and springs as these are commonly replaced parts.

Dude, that's shocking! Glad you're okay though.

I have a spare set of Tokico radials in the Batcave from my old 636, there's some good pads in them and have all the spares in case you want to check the rest of your calipers!

Just say they word if you need some bits.

It was a B1, same calipers though. In '07 they switched to Nissin.
I can post em off to you if you don't have any joy with the website, don't want anything for them. They're in a box in my garage doing nothing, better off being put to use.
    ;)
