    Emptied a former trike builders workshop and garage. Lathe in position , but not bolted down. Also bought engine lift, 185 and 130 amp MIGs, hydraulic bender, turntable, cruiser bike lift, trolley jack, oxy/propane set, drill stand with compound vice for milling, loadsa HT bolts and everything else in his garage.
    Lathe in position;

    I take it this thread is an open invitation for anyone with bike problems to turn up so you can fix it for them using all of your fine new equipment...

    I am in one of those lets fight the System mood, so megawatt, a fixed income that I guess is way too much to afford such Luxuries as a garage/workshop with TOOLS in it

    In light of current affairs, I think that really depends on who you've invested your money with ;).

    I am with the Electricity Supply Industry Pension Scheme. It has done very well over the years, but I still need to bring in some extra money for treats and holidays. Now can we get this thread back on track and talk about the workshop . Somebody start another thread if you really wanna talk about pensions;)

    So I am guessing I have actually paid into your scheme for you, from paying my electricity bill, and income tax, over the last 35 years, so you owe me Workshop time I think :)

    No doubt you are also getting a state pension...so you owe me as I pay taxes which goes to pay for that.
