Nightrunners 22/23 June 2103

Yes, I know its 4 months away, but it'll soon be Christmas too!

I usually lead an overnight run once a year for the Boxhill Forum, and this year is no exception. The night of 22/23 June is the shortest Saturday night of the year so that's the chosen date. It's also full moon on the 23 June so it'll be ever so romantic.

pace will be dictated by ability to see!

The Blackheath Tea Hut and Market Diner are a couple of the few all night cafes left now. They are also not a million miles away from most people's homes, easy to get to and easy to find.

As this requires a bit more commitment than your usual rideout put the date in your diary and watch this space.

Count me in! The route's probably Blackheath / New Addington / Godstone / East Grinstead / Lewes / Brighton, right?

 

June seems a long way off but sounds like fun.

But it probably won't be that route.

I try to use a variety of roads (but NO motorways) and usually make it up as I go along.
Ask carnage, he'll tell you .

It's good that there's interest already. I'll bump this every so often, just to keep it in people's radar.

some use garmin ,others use Tom Tom ...i have a JimJim ...ya just tell him the destination , hit the random route button and he plots a route designed for the occasion ....just dont tell him you just rebuilt the front forks .....hhhheeelllllfffiiinddssssommmmeereeaaallllwoororkkkouuuutttrooooads .

That's different to the usual ride-outs. Can't commit yet but definitely interested.

Out of curiosity, is it done as a charity ride-out or just for fun?

 

its a purely fun ride out RR and done for no other reason but the fact that its there to be done and its different
