    Sue has spoken to the pub today & provisionally booked us in for 20 places. This has only been pencilled in to keep us the booking & won`t become firm until all the deposits have been paid.

    As we need firm numbers to confirm this I`m going to have to impose a cut off point for bookings which is 9pm Friday 1st November.

    Remember, NO DEPOSIT, NO PLACE.

    Sorry if this sounds harsh but we need to be fair to the pub & respect their terms.

    RW put it up in the conversation thread I believe. I think we are supposed to make our choice now (to help the kitchen estimate numbers). Trouble is, it all sounds so good. Even the veggie option, a somewhat predictable mushroom, cheese and spinach fricassee with rosemary crushed spuds. I think that would be great with a slab of mutton or cow beside it. :spag:

    The menu was an attachment on my post which started the list Pat. I`ll add it again to the bottom of this post too so you don`t have to worry about hunting for it. Just click on the PDF attachment to download it.

    My apologies, I should have added to my earlier post that the pub DOES require the menu choice for each person with the deposit so if you could PM me with your choices I`ll not only forward it to the pub but also keep a note to bring on the night in case anyone can`t recall what they chose :thumbsup:
