    It's one of those helmets that only time and real crashes will tell if those locks either side will stay locked until released if they have been really damaged and/or if the hinge is strong enough to not break on impact....

    Otherwise in theory a good idea.

    I saw this a while back and heard nothing of it recently so I assumed it wasn't a success. I don't fancy it until someone does lots of testing.

    Not a lot different to a flip front, just the hinge is a little further back
