    Its very subjective and dependant on the copper. The laws are not much different than that of a fixed satnav in your car... or more to the point, driving with due care and attention. Smoking, drinking, playing with the stereo for any length of time can constitute driving without due care and attention.... pressing a button on your satnav whilst driving should not fall into that category, riding or driving ... programming a route on the other hand ...

    Holding a device whilst riding a bike is pretty challenging and I'm not sure you could do much with gloves on. The only person I have seen capable of using his mobile phone effectively whilst riding is this man ...
