I am very anxious when I see anything waiting to turn in front of me, after experiencing it for myself. I am /was prepared for the possibility that I might have to stop but still ended up in trouble. Now, although I would like to slow a little when I meet the same situation I am very aware that some drivers are so stupid that they might think you are slowing to let them turn. I don't know how some of them gain a licence to drive but there are a few who seem to have no concept of right of way or any hint of common sense, so I stay aware but won't drop my speed enough to confuse anyone. It's worrying to think how many are out there on their 'phones, thick as two short planks or over the limit because they've been out for a little socialising in the pub.
