    first race completed
19th on the grid but a horrible start saw 5 or 6 bikes get passed.
Not to worry Leila took 3 or 4 before the first corner. Then settling in and hunting the rest down over the rest of the lap.
from the 3rd lap she was back to 19th and chasing down the bikes in front. Dicing nicely with a few of them and making one of her trade mark daring dives this time on the gooseneck.
    finishing 16th overall.

Day 2 was a little bit more mixed.
Leila altered the gearing to try and get more drive out of bends but the compromise was hitting the rev limiter between corners.
    Practice went well
so first race and on the warm up lap the bike again bogged down on the start. Seeing Leila drop to last place. again she turned it up and had soon all the places reclaimed.
Now for the real race start.
Nailed it, bike shot off the line but hit the rev limiter very quickly. However it looked impressive as they vanished out of sight Leila had held her own so could now focus on the race.
Having a really good battle with a young guy. She set her fastest lap of the weekend.
Came in smiling but still thinking she could do more.
so we waited for the final race. Then the weather started to turn. rain then sun then rain. Red flag after Red Flag
watching everyone swap wheels every 5 minutes, Leila played the waiting game opting to swap just one wheel and not doing anything else.
2 minutes before the race start and it looked like she had made the best call.
Suited up and ready to race , tyre warmers being removed from the bike and as the start button was pressed disaster struck. Zero revs . would just about start but even full throttle it wouldn't rev passed 500 rpm.
so whatever had been causing the bogging down in the other races ended the day early.
Gutting as the weather conditions suited Leila and the frustration was shown .
But she has booked another race weekend so will be back .

I should have added that even missing one race Leila still got 16 points from this weekend.
Having done only 3 out of 4 rounds she still sits 9th out of 35 in the championship which isn't bad
