Dropping my bike today and snapping the footpeg. :( Might have to invest in a lowering kit one of these days!

Last night I notice the wheel rubbed on the arch at full lock, no worries thought I. Just hasn't been 'rolled' to accomodate the bigger wheels.

Pop to the garage today to sort that out, only to find the other side has tons of clearence. Apparently there's something suspensiony wrong. Balls!
Oh and there's a hole in the floor!

Ever thought about designing some girly biker boots with 5" platform soles. Probably cheaper than a lowering kit.:D

My mate had a mini like that. Turned out that the previous owner had used a knuckle joint from a non 1275GT but hadn`t realised that the 1275GT had 12" wheels & not 10" & that the knuckles were different sizes too.

bugger but on the bright side at least you were out riding :D:rofl2:

it's called character :p with any luck the rear sub frame will be slightly bent and you will be able to get full on tyre squeel at any speed :whoo:

Actually, I have to re seat the rear suspension too as currently the positive camber is leaving the inside edge of the tyre pristine and being yoko's I can't just swap em over :(

Going to work on a Saturday morning for 7.30, and then at 11.25 Mr & Mrs DIY come in

Why do they come in at that time??? They've had all morning to come in. I'm just getting ready to close everything up (we close at 11.30) and in they come. To make matters worse, they haven't got a clue what they're after and decide they want to look at everything in the bloody yard!!!!

I eventually got out at 12.00 :bhead:

Met up with Deano to give him my old screen down at Rye.

On the way back I happened to look in my mirror and saw my rear cowl detatching itself from the bike, fly about 15 feet up in the air, bounce on the road and then veer off towards a hedge. A definite YouTube moment.... :hah: Scratched up a bit, and all the lugs bust so I rode home with one hand holding it on. Garage now stinks of Araldite.

Then my gear linkage decided to fall off :bhead:
