It doesn't look especially dirty - was the pic taken before or after your efforts? (And don't let Ducky see it yet: he'll have a conniption). How do you intend to keep the downpipes looking as they do? I sense that application of GT 85 or whatever will be fine until the bike is used, whereupon the heat will burn off the protective coating in moments. Suggestions, anyone?

AF50 is the best spray on protector i know as it is used by the RAF on the fighter planes to protected them from the elements..All you need do is spray everything but the brake disks and brakes and will last for up to 6 months. It will also stop corrosion that has already started..and its about £6-8 a can

Getting the 450 back after 2 days at the dealer (Yes...Laguna's!:poop:) found a big plastic (restricting) plug in the inlet pipe, making it feel like a 125. Said they 'didn't know' KTM put it there??

Thats amazing for them to state they don't know it was there seeing as they are a KTM dealer add one more reason to the list of why I don't go to Laguna's for feck all..

Taking Ogy out for his maiden drive!

Despite the fates trying conspire and cause problems. Through the ingeneous use of speaker cable, I fixed the problem and was able to carry on albeit at a slightly tentative rate.
