Outrageous though, I mean we are all adults and all bikers know that you ride your own ride. But there was another case where the leader of the group, even though he was caught at a lower speed than the others was charged with a serious road offence, cant remember which, because as the leader, he had set the pace for the group and encouraged them to go fast. I just could not believe that!

about time bikers were seen as being able to make their own choices
i know when out on the bike we can sometimes choose to push on a little but that is down to each of us.

by the same ruling then surely any car that drives to slow meaning i have to increase my speed to overtake should face the same penalites as me :D
what if i ride though a green light but another bike jumps a red is that my fault too?
or i pull out into a gap and another bike later pulls out into a car is that my fault.

turn it to everyday life, if i hold a door open for someone and they trip while increasing their pace to get there can i be had for gbh ? some of these laws are nothing more than stupid :stomp:

Not always the laws but the wrong'interpretation' of them by greedy/devious lawyers compounded by the occasional weak judge.
