So hopefully I have managed to resize this picture (as per roadwarts instructions) so you can see the afore mentioned buried car!

Does make it slightly more difficult mate. At least you saw it & she didn`t arrive the second you put the shovel back in the shed.

Finding out that I don't have to drive for four hours to have a one hour meeting at Head Office tomorrow. Instead I can be told that I'm officially 'at risk' of redundancy from the comfort of my warm and cozy sofa.

    Joy.

Hopefully... still 'in discussions' with a number of companies. Nothing happens quickly and sometimes it feels as though nothing is happening at all! *fingers crossed*

Yardman at work got caught driving the pick-up using his mobile and not wearing a seatbelt. £120 in fines, and 3 points on his licence.

    What a prat!!!! :hah:

More than a pratt.......hate tossers who use their mobile whilst driving. He should have lost his freaking job for that, as well as the points and fine. :fume:

Never managed to get around to doing a full marathon, most i did was half marathon's.
I was part of a 10 man army team, which ran relays from landsend to John o Groats. 13 miles for 6 days and then an 18 miler for 1 day, all to raise cash for Marie Currie Hospice.

Fergy, you doing the London marathon or another?

I got caught out once about 10 years ago; nearly lost my job but I was lucky the copper was very lenient when I explained why I had been on the phone, and I never ever used it behind the wheel again ...

Company I work for is a big PLC and they're s**t hot on driving procedures and do's-and-dont's; I think it's a written warning for each offence and removal from the insurance for driving company vehicles.

After fitting my new screen to the bike I realised just how lucky I was if the tirer the van flipped up had gone higher or I was going faster I'd hate to think how bad it could have been..felt sick to see that the screen plastic is thicker than the visor on my helmet.. 161 (478x640).jpg 162 (478x640).jpg 163 (640x478).jpg 164 (640x478).jpg

The screen plastic may be thicker but I'll bet your visor is much stronger...;)
