My New Ride!

    Here she is, Honda VFR 800 FI 'W' Reg with 20,600 miles on the clock. The dealer I got it from gave it a Service, fitted a Scott Oiler and a Givi Luggage system and I in return payed the asking price of £3000. I had bartered with him and was going to pay £2750 for it but then suggested that I wanted a full luggage system and Scott Oiler so we bartered back up! I reckon I got a cracking deal. Full luggage system will come in handy for the SEC Rally in July.:thumbsup:

    Yeah the problem with second hand bikes is you can't always choose the colour but I was after a black one and It was from the nearest Bike dealer to me, Gedges Honda in Hastings so this was a real stroke of luck as I was just passing in the car when I spotted it.

    Certainly take your sleeping bag, but if your choice of tent is anything like your choice in bikes (i.e. big ones) then NO as I don't have a tow bar for a trailer tent on this bike! :D :kiss2:

    Actually, I'm looking at getting a lightweight 2 man tent... purposefully so I can a) put it up easily and b) strap it onto the back of the bike!
