Oh no! Every time Dave posts that he's going to Newlands corner the weather changes to :rain:

I'll either be going direct to Chalet from TW if I fancy breakfast (cos it closes at 1:00pm), or via Birling gap if I don't. And I refuse to let Dave's influence spoil a sunny day!

Is there an eatery at Birling Gap? If so I would get there around 11:45. Could pick you up en-route Kev.

Lammy's post said 12 noon (ish, I assume as she may be pissed tonight!! LOL)

"On Sunday, if anyone is up for it: maybe meet at Birling Gap around 12 (night out in E.bourne so won't be an early start!) and then going onwards from there. The only thing is that the roads will probably be chocca so if anyone can think of anywhere else to meet or ride then please say!"

If your gong by way of Kev's I would suggest the Willow as a far better place to eat!

Twas @ the Willow a couple of weeks ago and the food was "worse than a Boxhill burger"

The 6/7 miles along the A26 between Beddingham-Newhaven was so traffic free today I did it twice. Obviously a good bike road as they decorate it with bunches of flowers on the best bends.;)

Oooops, sorry Dave. Next time don't wait for us, we are obviously too disorganised and spend too much time drinking tea and talking! Mind you, between cuppas I got in 185 miles today. :)

i managed a few more miles than that in between tea stops :D but only walked through the door 5 mins ago having decided to take the long route between the farm and home  the short route is only 1 mile and didn't seam worth it. :D

Great turn out again :D shame the cafe at cowfold was shut but i'm not sure i could drink another coffee.
