If it's 106dB without a baffle...

    ...then what would it be with one?

    The exhaust I want (full system, shorty) has been tested by the manufacturer (Arrow) as being 106dB without a baffle, but for some reson they haven't tested it with one (which they do supply).

    Any ideas of what I can expect? I'd like to get to Cadwell at some point but know that it's got a really low limit... 98dB I think?

    Yes, I expect so... but if I can get below 101dB then I'm okay for the majority of tracks.

    If you know the inside diameter of the pipe, you should be able to get a longer baffle. Either that or just pack the existing one with some BAFFLE WOOL for when you go on the track.

    my db killer removes 9 db :D but im still way over the 98 limit :eek:

    There is a MSV trackday at Brand Tuesday 29th(day) and Thursday 31st (evening) They will check your dB free.
    I think brands is 105db but will check

    Evening at Brands is 102dB. You've got no chance with an Arrow Hanna, one of the loudest on the market!!! Buy a baffle, try it with a phone dB meter and if still too loud gimme a shout to make it a bit quieter?:)
