the cyclists today  bunch of muppets with no road sense just looking to cause accidents.

The first group riding 4 wide on the last derestricted zone going in towards rye, i was just coming out the bends and luckily was only poddling along so saw them in time, slowed down, flash my brake lights to warn the bikes behind. Checked the road ahead was clear ready to pass when one of them pulls straight across the road in front of me followed 5 seconds later by his friend. :dunce: neither looked or signaled had i gone for the overtake and been doing anything over 40 mph it would have been a big mess most likely resulting in me killing all 4 of them as by that point i would have been so pissed off that the 2 i would have missed would have be pulled apart just for fun. :sfight:

no tax, no insurance, no mirrors, no road sense Stay of the f##king road or learn to ride

Buying a set of pressed rockers on eBay at the 'best' price the guy could offer of £45, only for a set to come up for sale in Kent for a tenner 2 days later!
    Gah!

I hate that, when it happens, but if you had waited the next set would have been £100

Yeah, I know. There's plenty on there for more than I paid.

Only reason I went for them was roller tips are £150+ for 1.3 lift and these are about 1.27, for the difference I can live with the price.

Now to find a centre speedo...

I might still have one of them? Think I have one of the centre consoles with oil pressure gauge and another clock, I will have a look up my unit tomorrow

:welcome: is it worth having it stuck on a rolling road, maybe the new pipes are causing it to run rich  a burnt valve  erm well thats the full extent of my knowledge and most of that was borrowed :haha:

could have kinked one when strapping it down on the trailer for wales.
but if you have messed something up with the slashcut then putting the standard can on still leaves it messed up just not as loud or good looking :D

didn't it sort itself out for a while after the plug change ? or didn't that last ?

It is running rich with standard jets and standard can on. There's a clue there , but I'm not clever enough to work it out. It has a high flow K+N filter and should be running bigger main jets , but it doesn't need them.

Hey Alan, sorry I haven't called you back been manic this weekend.
If it's running rich on stock exhaust & jet then you have a problem in the carb itself (sticky float / choke), the pump is supplying too much fuel (bit of an odd dilema but possible I guess), or your air flow is restricted. How long has it been since the filter was cleaned and reoiled and is the airbox restricted at all?
As there's no change in the A:F between the stock and modified exhaust that wouldn't seem an issue.

How are you checking the air/fuel mix by the way?
