I've made enough suggestions too. Seems to me that unless someone lives within three miles of Eastbourne or is surgically attached to Rye, not much goes on.

it's funny as the west has more mid week things going on than the east,
wednesday night is H's, the oakdene, adlaide, kiln cafe ( if it's reopened  )
verus well nothing over to the east that i know of.

maybe we just need to spark a few of the old haunts back up

If you want some raw edged mental bike fun then get your arse up to the Ace cafe on a friday night, not necessarily on a stated bike night as I've been up there on an ordinary bike night and it has been absolutley mental! next month is the Ace reunion and thats usually good and manic, and they have the Brighton Burn up on the Sunday..................
Motorways, yes......but its only 140 round trip for me in Tonbridge but you don't have to do 140 everywhere....
Nice ride and good fun.....Try it.

I'll be posting up on 'Rideouts' with in a week or so, and a meet of bikes is usually on the cards......

PS..... Plod are more laid back and aren't such 'mothers' up there...

PSS.... Yep, you have waffled on a bit, but we don't mind and we all like a good waffle from time to time......don't we peoples......

Agreed...I went to the Ace 2 weeks back on a Friday and had a great time, good to see a bit of lawlessness occasionally!!! did M25 junc 9 then up through Kingston Upon Thames, Richmond etc....we went through central London on the return to T/Wells, wouldn't want to do that route in rush hour but as it was late and light traffic it was a good blast past Londons landmarks.

Now I've seen where it is on a map, I rather like the idea of a run through Central London. I could even combine it with a days work in Brentford and meet with some of you at the Ace for the ride back.

Bit "off-patch" for me but still seems like a great place to meet and chat to people.
