Heading for Mickeys Diner on Detling Hill, sometime between 1000 and 1200 to meet some peeps. Hopefully Finchy can suggest a rideout in the area???

Yep, I'll be in on this is the weather's ok. I'll have a look at a route (now that I've finished fitting the kitchen). Are you sure that the diner is open? The garage next door has been closed for building works for a while.

what is the exact address is it bluebell hill? not detling? seems like you google it and it is a different address to the actual place? or are there now 2? it is the old Little chef? on the maidstone to Sheerness route?

 

No Brett , fooled me too . It is on the A249 Detling Hill, on Streetview it says Rock Cafe.

I think you are right Brett, this cafe used to be a Little Chef.

 

Yep, it's on the Northbound carriageway on top of Detling Hill just after the Kent Showground.

The weather's looking ok-ish, so who's confirmed for this? I've been looking at a couple of routes, so need to know how far / how long people want to ride. Currently;

v1) Bredgar - Hollingbourne - Charing - Chilham - Street End - Littlebourne - Ash - Sandwich - Deal - St Margarets - Dover - Folkestone - Ashford - Maidstone

OR

v2) Bredgar - Hollingbourne - Headcorn - Biddenden - Ashford - Challock - Faversham - Canterbury - Chilham - Charing - Maidstone.

Once decided, I'll post up a GPX and / or Google map.
