Was thinking of a rideout to Nutley. But brain not functioning to think of details yet. JimG mentioned a cafe in that area. Maybe meet somewhere at 11.30 and go from there?

Right, think its called Annie's Cafe, on the A22, what was the Nutley Arms? Could be a bit of a magical mystery tour. Maybe meet in Battle before 11.30? Aim to leave by half past and maybe be at the cafe by 12.3o in case anyone coming from other directions want to meet there instead.
I will have to confirm for definite if I can come, in the morning, but otherwise should be good to go. Better get Tomtom charged though lol!

Sort of route I would choose take, so you can safely assume there will be crap on the road :)

That is virtually guaranteed to be a muddy ride in parts then

Newick Lane is a great route. It gets a bit narrow as you come into Mayfield, but the run up to Argos Hill is good (esp the right handed sweeper!). It's just a shame that you'll miss out by turning left. Maybe you should do it and take the next left instead?

A fun ride indeed. Had a bit of everything: mud, fog, horses, horse poo, gravel, tiny bit of blue sky, good company etc. And of course the essential having to turn bike around coz missed a turn off. Then a good old blat on way home. Brilliant :D.
Bike is all clean now. Figured I better wash it before it forgot what its real colour was!
