    Trouble is the Experts in the same field may have different opinions. as I said we can beg to differ, each situation is different. trouble is people assume you are going to have an accident if you drive against a doctors advice, and if you do not have an accident was the doctor right? so many if and buts but not set in stone.

    It is set in stone Brett. If you drive after the doctor has told you not to drive for six weeks after a knee operation, you are NOT insured. Insurance companies use any excuse to not pay out and this example is a no brainer.

    Almost got an IPad as the new mini does over come some of the limitations of the Nexus 7 whilst still being a reasonable size. As usual Apple found a way to cripple it.

    Why provide something like the CCK but only make it available for import not export?

    This is the problem with the modern tech industry. It's not able enabling people to do things like it was in the old days, it's simply about control.

    If you connect it to you mac or pc you should be able to get your photos off...alternatively photo stream should work ?

    Thanks. That's fine if I had the laptop with me or had data connectivity but I was looking something more compact and self-sufficient. My old Netbook can do all of this but's a bit bulky and has far too many moving parts.

    Perhaps I'll move this to the geek section and see what the others come up with.

    When I actually typed that, it was washing away the salt.....I did not engage ESP to look ahead and see that the gritters would be out later......I grudgingly apologise for this oversight, oh master ;)
