These lights (amongst others) are new to the Durite range for 2013 so I decided to trial fit a pair to try them out.

They're a substancial bit of kit, Cast alloy bodies and bulletproof polycarbonate lenses, weighty in the hand and as with all Durite kit; beautifully made.
Sturdy stainless steel mounting hardware with M10 mounting bolts comes as standard.

I had a pair of the excellent Cree 10w single LED spots fitted previously but standing back and looking at my KTM these seem to fit the look of the bike better. If they'd been hanging from a mounting bracket or exposed above boxer cylinders the look might have been different. But, where they're mounted on my KTM I think they look superb!

They're not as focused as a dedicated spot light but instead emit a really decent edgeless beam and increase on-coming visibility greatly.

For comparison, the headlight in my KTM is fitted with a Les Wassall 55w HID

At £79.99 per pair they're a load of bang for the buck!

Ooooh fancy! Nice work and yep, they suit better than the square ones did. Not as expensive as I'd have assumed either

Just a quick edit - I made a mistake with the price. They are £89.99  (not £79.99)

I'll get some photo's of the beam pattern when I next get the opportunity!

From £79.99, it's almost, like, doubled in price an that, or summink or nuffink. ;)

Does the extra tenner include a giftwrapping service?

They look good,I would look a t bit more, but>>>>>>> [Advertising link removed by Mod]

I assume a mod removed the link that was advertising or giving more info on them, any reason why a mod would do that?

I'll PM you the link in question

they do look quite smart but then they make the indicators look out of place now  Thats the problem when you start modding bikes there's always something to do next :D I recon nice strip light indicators running down your protection bars would work  ( uless you try them and it looks ugly then i never said that:cool: )

Its not a question of money or anything like that Mega. As a forum we are one of the few that are FULLY self funding & self supporting & we should be proud of that.

The site supporter contributions pay for the site costs including software updates & support (for which we are MOST grateful). This site is a not for profit one & as all costs are covered, we have no need for advertising. Any spare cash is donated to charity. We didn`t do a charity run last year so already have some in the kitty to start this years pot off.

As a society we are bombarded with ads in mags, newspapers, TV, radio, billboards etc & I, at least, think its nice to have somewhere we are free from it.

Nuff said Paul, just thought extra contributions from someone hoping to pick up some business from site members would be a welcome addition. Nice to be ad free though:)
