Poker Run 1st June

    That time of the year again, just wanting to see who else is doing the poker run and what other peoples plans are like where they are starting, which routes theyre taking what order etc.. :)

    The info below might help. I have had a look at all of them on Google and reckon, if we do our own circuit we could avoid any of the too congested areas and make a nice circuit run of it. Will have a think about meeting place etc later this morning.

    The Poker Run 8 starts from 11am, stops close by 5pm, and 5:30pm at the rally site.

    You can then choose where you want to start from. Then either follow our suggested route, or go your own way.

    Best Poker hand wins 1st Prize of £100, 2nd Prize £50, 3rd Prize £25

    All in aid of raising funds to aid the continuation of the great work provided by Macmillan Cancer Support and SERV Blood Runners.

    Ticket prices are:

    Chase the Ace Rally entrance : Only £10 per person, including camping!

    Poker Run competition : £5 per person.

    I had a look at the locations when I got back in after the indian , and looks like it could be a good run ... will all depend on how much work I get done in the garage tomorrow as to whether I have a free pass saturday

    so you can start at any checkpoint and collect your cards from all the points?
    then at the last checkpoint you hand in all your cards and pay the fiver?

    Yep that's the idea. Although if you finish in Catsfield then that's where the campsite, bands, food and beer tent are :)
    Speaking of which, I have found tent, sleeping bag and mat so am ready to roll. 90% Proof are playing tomorrow night so hope to have a bounce around to some rock music lol.
