Goodwood Festival of Speed

I'm going Saturday (and think lammy and others are going Sunday) anyway last year I parked in with the cars around the hill but didnt see anywhere to leave my helmet/jacket etc (left it padlocked to my bike). As a heads up this year I found the following on another site and Goodwood have confirmed the same for this year.

Yes there is official motorbike parking. Follow the signs for bike parking, not car. They will take you to the old circuit and there is a tarmac area for bike parking just on the right of the entrance.

There are also manned lockers and changing facilities, with a shuttle bus that will take you to the closest gate as the old track is a little distance from the hill climb (The track is used for the revival not the FoS).

All they ask for is a donation to the charity manning the facilities.

Handy as its going to be a warm one so will be taking shorts and trainers to change into.

 

Whoever goes with Lammy, can they take lots of pics of her shorts?

 

I'll let you know how we get on with the parking so you can decide before going....anyway, dont make excuses I know you didnt want to go with me

 

Can't get tickets for Sunday either as it seems to be sold out...

 

Brilliant day at FoS today, bike parking at the Motor Circuit couldnt be better they store all your kit for a donation and buses ferry you to the festival approx every 10 minutes....make sure you see the GAS moto x arena show its awesome.
