    yes but then he would have been arrested for death by dangerous driving and not murder, it sounds like they believe the car was used as a weapon in a planned attack for it to be murder.

    They'll cut a deal, accept a guilty charge of death by dangerous driving.

    I don't agree with it but it happens a lot more that way then another.

    Well we don't really know what happened yet, The Police are quite often quick to make statements to arrest someone with something , or state being held on a charge just to drop it, or change the charge later. The media as per usual try and bend it all out of proportion headline states arrested on murder, but then in smaller print "A 37-year-old man from Trelissick Road, Paignton, has been arrested on suspicion of murder".

    It just sad anyone should end up dead of a traffic accident :(

    I know what you mean but tis the CPS who decide whether to charge or not. To agree to charge there needs be a realistic (read...overwhelming) prospect of a finding of guilt.:(
