I wheelie need some practice space.

Be very careful at the crossroads where the Bodiam to salehurst road crosses the long straight Broad at the Curlew restaurant. There's been some bad accidents there.

Pretty sure that this is a private road that i said unless we're thinking of different places as i remember there being a lot of signs and road marking saying private road etc, as you can see on the screen shot i took of the location it says in the yellow box that it is a private or restricted road and its about half mile long hope you can see the location okay if you want to try it.

I know there is a short private road from the A2100 to the crossroads near the railway crossing, so your probably right Jack about the half mile part to British Gypsum. Never been on it though. Probably only safe on a Sunday???

 

Yeah i've been down it with a mate on a weekend, cant think what day but like i said i would only go there on a weekend or sunday, but its a nice piece of road blast down I think i know someone who works there and i'll try find out when they're open etc if needed

Great I found it and marked it on my maps just before you posted this, but thanks, it confirms the road is the same. Looks perfect for practicing. I'll put my baffle in to avoid any unwanted attention. cheers!

That's the end goal and very possible. I have lots of wheelie pics but havent tried uploading pictures on this website yet.

 

Would be good to see some always like to see a nice wheelie, if you like when you can do them that long quiet long i dont mind lettin you use the gopro and i can meet you there

That is such a cool picture haha balance point looks perfect, knowing me i'll get my bike un restricted try it and crash the thing again haha, had it up about a foot if that but with restricted throttle it aint goin much above that lol

Well, Me and a friend went to this location nr Robertbridge to test out the wheelie space. A good, long enough stretch but not flat at all, which is what I was expecting. Also woodland on both sides so very possible to end up in the bush. I managed to do some good one's, then It started to rain and I tried a few in the rain before we were confronted by security and asked to leave. He said they had received several complaints about the noise.

The search for that long flat private peaceful road continues!!! Where is the nearest dis used airfield round here?
