    Had an hours worth of dads Vs lads footy match with my kids U10 team. Very spur of the moment thing. I now have the maching machine going as my clothes got very muddy and my white trainers are, well, lets say not white any more :lol:

    Think I will leave my football boots in the car now just for these occasions!!!

    having to go court today to defend an insurance claim against me
    a couple in a BMW cabriolet accused me of hitting their car in a carpark whilst I was in my van,(my insurance company were going to pay his claim)
    he was trying to claim £400 damage, £550 excess and £4000 car hire for 9 days
    Judge ruled in my favour
    RESULT :D:D:D:)

    i was in a car park in Tunbridge wells with inching traffic, I was gestured out of a side turn to join main drag and as I was in my van I had to do an exadurated right angle turn,
    as I did I touched the opposite curb and pulled up close to a BMW.
    He got out of his car and said that I had hit his car and straight away pointed to supposed crease line in his bumper, I queried this and as my van was partially blocking the other lane I said we had better move to allow traffic flow.
    we exchanged details and him and his Mrs took loads of snaps, I thought he was a chancer as even if my van had touched his there was no way I could have caused the damage he claimed which I could hardly see,
    after a while my insurance called me to say there had been a claim against me and after to-ing and froing he was claiming as above.
    the penalty on my premium renewal was minimal so I wasn't that bothered until I saw his claim for car hire.
    my insurance was going to pay and said that due to claims assist companies charges like that were normal and I said we should fight it to which they accepted once I said I would happily go court.
    The Judge (being a non driver) couldn't see how the damage could be caused with their explanation and said "it's a shame I haven't a couple of models for the claimants to demonstrate",
    in a flash my solicitor produced 2 model cars from his bag.
    with this and the fact they never took pics of the 2 vehicles in contact
    Case dismissed
    :stomp: :cry::cry::cry: for the claimants
    :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup: for me

    Hi it`s my birthday today had planned to get bike MOTed and hopefully meet up for coffee but as weather crap just went to Folkestone got bike MOTed and back. The bit that gave me a smile the bike having sat on the drive for months, went thru MOT no probs. Now looking forward to some decent weather to get out on the bike more. :)

    You're welcome and glad you like them. The snow flakes do stop after about 30 seconds so the don't get too annoying. I'm also impressed lammy worked out the danglies are musical so quickly!
