If the weather holds out I may head over to Wessons today. Aim to be there around 12.00 - 12.30. There's a few people riding there from Pease Pottage so figured I would meet them there to say hi.

    Anyone else out?

Ps if it starts to chuck it down in the next hour then I shall go back to bed

Well, it was an eventful journey in a rather non-eventful way lol. Decided to try out some new smaller roads, had to turn around and did the classic slow manoeuvre drop! Luckily no damage to the bike at all, managed to pick it up by myself and no one saw . Made it to Wessons where I spent the next few hours at which point someone told me that she had broken my left mirror when trying to move her bike! She had very kindly left her phone number on my bike in case she didn't find me so I couldn't be too annoyed. Bit of a pain in the a**e though! Not having a mirror makes you realise just how much you use it without thinking about it!
Still, I did get to catch up with a few people and managed to get home in one piece. Now.....to find a new mirror.

I haven't found one yet. Was hoping just to replace the glass as the mirror housing itself is alright. Don't seem to be able to find the mirror on it's own though so I guess it'll have to be the whole part.

    Leila,

Would a 2004 R6 mirror be of any help?

Halfords sell plastic "cut to fit" mirrors, if there is enough of the broken one to glue it to

alas the whole glass was knocked out and left laying on the floor so nope but could possibly make a rear mount easy enough

Blimey Leila, I'll remember not to get on the wrong side of you - I'd have no chance of picking my bike off the ground :respekt:

It's amazing what strength you can find through sheer embarrassment/frustration at yourself lol.
