Wednesday Evening 16 July - Cancelled!

Well another week has come and gone, so it's time for my weekly time-out from the office and 'erindoors!

Meet at The Grasshopper Inn, Moorhouse, Nr Westerham, TN16 2EU.
(Please note NOT The Grasshopper IN Westerham!)
Depart 1830
Return about 2.5 hours later for swift drink (but not necessarily at The Grasshopper).

Clear visors mandatory as you will still need to see if I turn left or right in the latter part of the ride.
I don't want to lose you!

Now then, I may have another more important, as yet unconfirmed, commitment Wednesday.
I may not get back in time for this ride, so please advise if you intend to come along.

Still virtually impossible for me to commit to evenings at the mo but very tempted to come by and park my GS next to yours in the customary Tusky style for the Grasshopper

 

I'm around and hopefully will be able to make it. ... If I'm sober.

Sorry, won't make this! Wow, can't make my own ride out, a first for me. Other engagement takes precedence I'm afraid.

Phew that's a relief, I was tempted to head up there to say hi and promptly feel asleep in a chair....

I went to the Oakdene instead and am pleased to say - not a Mr Plod in sight and the show offs where back to their normal antics

 

Al, please, please please use the ' (apostrophe showing possession) and not the , (comma showing a break in a sentence) as it,s the same number of key strokes!

It,s a HTC smartphone and it,s a lot easier to put a comma than an apostrophe. Carnage wouldn,t know the difference anyway mate.

 

As Syntax Monitor Number One (elect), I must protest at such diminution of standards in writing posts. U R hereby sentenced to rite out "I must use apostrophes appropriately" one hundred times.
