Another great Jimbo ride. Up to the usual standards too.

    A. Bumpy roads - check
    B. Wet roads - check
    C. Roads covered with crap - check
    D. Roads so narrow you can barely get a bike down them - check
    E. Roads with pot holes - check

So ... All on al one of the best rides in ages.
    Roll on the next one!

Good to meet up with a few of you at the café. Managed to bump into The blondeFella again later after my slight detour via the pantiles in Tunbridge wells, someone must have moved the road I was looking for

That was a jolly jape Jeeves, what? Fantastic weather and a good turnout for a mixed forum ride. Thanks to:

SECB only members Carnage, TheBlondeFella and MadProff
Joint members KeithM, JohnA and Vitesse45 (with Limpet)
ZX14R members UnionJack and Enzo. These two came from Chelmsford and Worthing respectively. Commitment .

    But, two apologies!
    1. Sorry for the choice of some "strange" roads. I used you as guinea pigs and wanted to try some I've never been down before.
    2. Sorry for the complete balls up at Dallington on the B2096. As I explained to a couple of you, I completely switched off and cannot remember the previous bit of road! I only switched back on when I was on top of the junction. Frightening!!!!
Still enjoyed it though. I wonder how many more days like that we will get before winter sets in?

Ah, that was you and MadProff I came up behind on the A264 then? JohnA and I were turning off on to the B2026 so I didn't get the chance to say hello again.

yeah it should have been  i was expecting to find you earlier but i think we ended up some way ahead even with the head start we gave you. I thought i had timed it perfectly after the first lane but it turned out to be another group pulling into the pub ( the Swan ). Then i thought we saw you at Heathfield but that turned out to be someone else too  After that i had no idea where i was going so just followed each road till it ended then picked a direction :D

Aah, Mr Hornet, that was you on the Ducati Mutistrada that I passed on the 264 was it? Who was the guy riding the 900 Hornet? He was going rather well.

Oh and thanks to Vitesse45 (Ray) for making me feel that I was going actually going backwards when he passed me on 2 separate occasions. The annoying thing was I was probably doing 80-90 mph both times!

Did you not work out it was us when i was chatting to you in the traffic  Although in fairness i always wear ear plugs and just pretend i know what the other one is saying :D If it hadn't been for the fact i had admired your rather nice paint job at teh 1066 i wouldn't have recognised the bike.

I was a little bit lost by that point i knew which town was on the sign posts but had no idea i was heading to a one way street still thats normally the case with me.

No idea who was on the 900 didn't see one of those anywhere.

Didn't have a clue who you were … which is why I probably came across as a little rude! :bounce:

So know I get it … BlackHornet rides a black hornet 900 … god i'm thick sometimes!

and that would make MaDProFF on the Ducati then!
… so who ever said blondes are stupid … wasn't lying! :hah:

well I ride a red thundercat, or an orange R6 sometimes a black R6 but if I'm on my Hornet then it's always a 600
