There was a mobile speed camera at the roundabout just south of Halland on the A22 the other day (East Hoathly bypass?) Wondered if there was a campaign starting

The past couple of days I have seen an unmarked cop bike (although he was wearing full police hi vis) and a full on cop bike around the hall and/golden cross area on the a22 :(

All Common places for a mobile speed camera van, there will be one soon next to the Halland Garden Centre. I have found over the years mobile Camera seem to appear on Sunny Days, and they try and target times when little traffic thus traveling faster, so after school runs in morning, and after early afternoons, although that is not to say they will not do it anytime of the day, I have seen a Mobile Camera at 7 in evening.

Ever seen what happens if you cover the floor in no more nails before a van parks on it? :D

I was driving along the M25 today up from A23 to M4, the speed restricti0n signs up most of the way from A24, and I had never relised how many speed cameras are on the over head gantries now, pretty well 75% I reckon along there now where there are Gantry Speed Signs.

For the First time today I noticed the A22 from the top of the hill after Nutley all the way to Wych Cross has been reduced from 60 to 50 MPH, pretty well a straight section of road for 1 1/2 miles :(

I think its been like that for a while mate. The reason? Deer collisions.

If that is the section through the Ashdown Forrest they have only just put new signs (in the past couple of weeks) changing the speed from 60 to 50 with prior warnings or signs to say there is a change.

I could have sworn its been a couple of months. Maybe I heard about it from someone at work who mentioned a change so happy to be corrected.

That change happened on the 11th April I think, can't think of a reason for it as no houses directly on the road and nice and straight

The only reasons I can think of is the llama park & the amount of deer in pippingford park crossing the road.
