Sunday 1st May - Bike Jumble

I won't be able to do Hastings on Monday but, might be able to get a permission slip for Sunday.

Anyone else fancy a bimble down to Romney Marsh for the Bike jumble? Could do a couple of meet up points from Medway to head down there??

We may have a stall at the jumble, but this depends on the weather and also if we manage to round up anything saleable and organise ourselves in time. We seem to have enough pairs of gloves to open a whole shop and a selection of exhausts as well. Where else are you going to find a good stock pipe for a BMW 650 CS?
The shed needs a big sort out before it's replaced with a new one so if we don't get to this one we'll have to take it all to the next one.

Can you get up to Ashford or Medway fairly early - was thinking we could do down the old A20 to Ashford - then depending on time either out towards Canterbury/Folkestone that way or straight down the Brenzett road if it's a bit later??
Must be home by lunchtime on this one though

Was thinking of leaving Medway about 8 - heading down old A20 to Ashford for about 8:30/9 then off for a bimble from there - it doesn't open until 10.....

Hmmm, it'll be a bit too early for me to get to Ashford, (it's an hour from here too). Could meet in Tenterden at 10am, grab a coffee and then head to the jumble? Or, meet at the jumble at 10.30 and then play it by ear from there? Whatever you would prefer.

There's motorcycle parking in the High Street. If you come in on the Ashford road (A28) and head down the high street (it goes straight through the centre of Tenterden) past some shops, Costas etc you should see Barclays Bank on the right. There is an Italian restaurant - Prezzo - next to the bank and the motorbike parking is directly in front of it. Will pm you my number in case you have any trouble. I'll try and get there in time to flag you down if you are going past!

So plan is Chatham Toys-r-us car park for 8:15
Ashford McD's drive through off junction 9 for 9/9:15
Then head to Tenterden for 10 to meet Lammy
