OK I`ll rephrase that, I hope the cops don`t find Nev if Nev finds the "perps" first. :bounce:

    - People who talk too much. (That includes people who are all mouth and no trousers, and colleagues who just endlessly, endlessly discuss irrelevant details of stuff that really doesn't matter.)
    - This day is not going quickly enough.
    - Blurred out parking signs on GoogleMaps (even though I know they're probably out of date anyway).

Not being able to find a driving instructor with hand controls in the area!
Looks like I'll be buying the car in advance, anyone well versed on mini's and fancy nosing about a couple?

Oh and my brie has just lost structural integrity and slid over the plate...

Are you going to buy a pre-converted car Dave (assume new shape mini or old)?

Old shape, has to be an auto box. Then I just have to throw in some hand controls which you buy in kit form.

Just looking for an auto roundnose at the moment, seen a couple but cars aren't my speciality.

Mmm on an old one rust is the main issue and a tired hydrospastic suspension setup...the A-series engine is fine.

That's about what I've heard, the ones I've got my eye on have spax shocks and been corrosion proofed / welded. Hopefully getting a test drive just to make sur the box is ok too.

Usual places to watch/check were the sills, screen surround, panel joins around the front indicators and problems in the boot where the tank is.

Being asked to ''denounce the devil and all rebellion against god'',, :moon: Being asked to ''submit to god'' :hah:WTF
Ok i was at a christening,,, i was conned into going i thought it was primarily a family photo shoot for mums birthday..

What a load of :poop:, The parents wern't even religious??? First thing the Vicar did (i watched) was place the donation tray near the door, 2nd thing she did was talk about the 'beautiful historic building' and the cost of the up keep then asked for donations... . The door was shut (might have been locked even, ) so i couldnt run for it, sat at the back all i wanted to do was heckle.. I resisted... The poor child having its head 'dipped' was traumatised and shreiked its head off,, which in turn set all the others off ....

Later back at my nieces house, waddya know ther's the vicar one of the first to tuck into the coctail cheese n pinapple and sausage rolls.... I felt like asking her for donations towards the nosh...

Im not a good family member i know..... :htlr: em all...

I know where you are coming from Kevin. The last wedding I went to they had a collection plate out there too. As if the bride & groom didn`t "donate" enough when booking the church!

We had my son christened as I was happy to stand up in front of a bunch of friends and family and promise to bring him up to be an honest, trustworthy person. On the day the vicar spent half an hour going on about having to take him to Sunday school, the expectation parents would remain in church while he was at Sunday school, various comments about donations for the church roof, floor, walls, garden etc., and then even some comment about parking at the back of the church, not at the front in spaces reserved for the church cronies.

As a result my daughter was never christened. The vicar was arrested five years later for child abuse - not sexual but he used to beat his kids with brooms and other houshold implements, and lock them in the cupboard under the stairs for long periods.
