I like to think it's a sign telling me I'm best off on two wheels. Of course I've never been very good at taking advice... ;)
It'll just be the first year, because I'm clearly as much risk as a 17year old currently.

Really hate and detest thieving scumbags who cannot keep their hands to themselves with a passion.

Went out to the garage this morning, three deadbolts all cut off and lying on the floor with the heavy duty padlocks also lying their as well.

Door was slightly open, went inside and worst fears confirmed, two Snap-On tool chests cleared out of about £30,000 worth of tools.

It is not so much the value, it is the fact that some of the tools that were taken cannot be replaced

Spent the morning with Plastic Pop Up Plod (Community Copper type people) and they really do not have much of a clue do they?

Surprisingly, bike untouched which is a bonus :) and no signs of any damage, so it looks like said theiving scumbags were targetting my tool chests as they will be easier to sell on.

Sucks doesn't it? We had our garage emptied overnight just before last Xmas, 3 nice off-road bikes & all the associated gear, numerous tools, clothing & helmets taken by 3 local scums who took their time (3 hours). They couldn't get thru the doors so destroyed the roof to get in & disable the alarm, all chains cut by bolt croppers which I found nearby. A mate saw them loading them into a stolen van at 3am, followed it (not knowing the gear was ours) and guess what? Despite cctv, my jacket & gloves being found in one of their houses when they got nicked later that same day by the excellent (yes, really) local plod & guess what...CPS later refused all charges. Even 'handling stolen goods' was refused as the jacket etc could not be ID'd as mine, yet they were more than happy to return the jacket/gloves to me. CPS=tossers, unless the job is a stone bonker which for reason, mine wasn't. I now have a better alarm, reinforced roof, baby monitor, oh yes & I'll be carrying a chainsaw when I next hear any sounds out there. One other thing...I know who they all are....revenge? Oh yes, he he

going back to thieving scum etc, i can only see things getting worse, state of the country, people skint and no job prospects, government letting more people in the country to go after the little jobs that are around....... still, could be worse.
