Just been dragged kicking & screaming into the 21st century & got an android smartphone & will be grabbing some apps over the next few weeks.

I was wondering what are your top 5 FREE apps & top 5 PAID apps?

    Top 5 free apps:-

    1 BBC News
    2 BT Fon
    3 Google Maps
    4 Pandora
    5 QuickPic

    Top 5 paid apps:

    1. PowerAmp music player.
    2. Fancy Widgets Pro (Weather app)
    3. ROM Manager (handy as my phone is hacked/rooted and I can flash different Nexus One ROMs on it).
    4. Root Explorer (allows me to access the system files on the phone that are hidden from sight).
    5. Smart Keyboard PRO (skinnable keyboards)
Haven't got FB or Twitter on the phone as I DETEST those sorts of apps :bhead:

Get something like appmonster...allows you to properly delete the apps you decide you no longer want!

Thanks everyone. Some I`ve heard of (poweramp) & the rest I`ve not. Installed my first app last night & then spent about half an hour in bed playing "Angry Birds" :D

Nick: I didn`t think pandora worked in the UK. Last time I tried it from my PC it basically said "You`re outside the US so bugger orf!"

BTW, Feel free to keep the suggestions coming!
