Nothing wrong with it, just have no time to get to the MOT station during the week

 

I,m off all week, where is the bike?

 

St Leonards. I usually drop it round to a mates and he takes it in for me but he cant do it this week. Its just a pain in the arse as I have to leave for work at 6.30 am and I dont get home til 7 pm and to cap it off this week the mother inlaw is back in hospital but this time in Brighton! I will have a ring around tomorrow to see if I can find somewhere to do it for me on saturday morning

I know what you mean! The wife has been doing the same thing the past week or so! We just advertised for a part time admin person at work and you wouldnt beleive some of the CV's we have had...One woman has been in quite senior roles for the past few years (the last paying nearly £50k a year) and she wants to come and work for us answering the phones and doing the filing!

 

don't look a gift horse in the mouth. some people have had enough and want to tune out doing something less stressful and leave when they are supposed to. you may find that besides answering phones and filing she will slowly get involved in other bits of your business where subconsciously her £50k skills are being used to your benefit.

 

No need to convince me, I liked some of the suff she could do and totally get the fact that she may want/need a part time job after having stressfull jobs for years. She may even take over and give us the opportunity to get rid of the useless cow that we have! Personally I would interview her but its not down to me and I am staying well away from that decision this time!

 

Hey - I'm impressed you pay £50k a year to answer the phone. Can I have a job? I'll open the post as well for another £30k.

Yeah you did Jim. Her last job paid £50k we will be paying about a third of that! Had another one today where she has been a senior project manager for a huge firm earning £40k! I think it shows how tough things are out at the moment or just that a lot of high power workers are now looking for less stressfull lives.

 

The bloody weather!
