Would there be much interest for a weeks riding around Cornwall next year, maybe May/June or whenever it gets warmer again? Switzerland it isn't & is a long time from now but it'd be something else to look forward to. Maybe use a rented house or B & B as a base then pick the next days destination after the morning swim:eek:. No set routes etc just sort of make it up as we go.

Hmmm possible, as long as we don't have to spoon at night.

already going next year but havnt set a date so def interested matey. went in september and theres some great roads on the lizard and lands peninsula. only issue will be is that the roads can be fairly congested down there during peak/school holidays . I'm a cheapskate and dont mind camping though lol. I know mostr of the roads quite well as been visiting cornwal for over 20 odd years as we have friends there, but this year was the first time i got to take the bike .

How about early May then as I'm unsure when school hols are. Don't mind camping, self catering or B&B, whatever the majority say. If we camp I would take the car for gear & tow the bike. BTW two of my sons are up for this.

I can only do one big bike trip per year mate. Finances and Er indoors wouldn't allow two

we carried all the camping equipment we needed on the ninja, and the 4 days in total set us back about £150 i think and that was camp costs, food, entrance to some local attractions and fuel. cheaper than 3 nights in a local b&b

First May bank holiday is my birthday weekend, if the weather is looking good, I could be tempted x

And a covered sedan chair to the beach? I'm awaiting a reply from a mate's mum who lives in Penzance & may be able to put up a group on a B&B basis which suits me. Wherever individuals choose to stay or what people's budgets are, we can meet up each morning/evening anyway. Anyone know when schoolkids are off around May time?

As you may know I can do anytime of year but prefer when it's likely to be warmer. Maybe if those really interested can say when they can/cannot go, it could be narrowed down;). So far those that I know for certain are my sons Jeff & Jordan, so long as they can stay upright that 'til then which, on past history is :eek:unlikely.

Hey Everyone, I've only just joined the forum but would be interested in doing this. Did my first big bike tour to Wales this year, would be great to do a similar thing but with company this time.
